Easy Mapping: The MTPdrive allows mapping devices operating in MTP mode to a drive letter in the Microsoft Windows. It offers read access to the files on the device with ability to delete them (e.g. Digital cameras or Apple devices). Write access is supported as well but it depends on device's capabilities (typically Android based devices allow it). It appears to be blank which leads me to believe MTP is broken on the OS.

I have a serial device that when connected to a Windows 10 Home version with the Microsoft driver 10.0.17134.1works fine but when connected to a Windows 10 Pro version with the same Microsoft driver does not work. Same Microsoft driver displays in Device Manager on both machines. The error returned to the program (when Googled) points to issues withthe Dynamic Link Library differences. Windows Pro is at version 1803. Windows Home version is at 10.0.17134 build 17134. Both versions have all updates applied.

When plugging in the USB the port appears with the Windows driver in both Home and Pro version. The program works fine with the device with Windows 10 home, but not on Windows 10 Pro where it returns an error suggesting it cannot communicate with the device. To rule out that it is a machine problem, I have tried the program and device with several Windows10 Pro machines with same result. How to resolve this? Thanks, Bill. Hi,Thanks for bringing this up.
